Integrative Medicine Services Program (IMSP) Treats
The following is a list of symptoms, diagnoses, and chronic conditions that the Institute of Medicine (IOM), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the American College of Physicians (ACP) have identified as being able to be treated safely and effectively by one or more integrative medicine therapies. As with any traditional therapy, note that not all integrative medicine therapies are safe for treatment of all conditions or all types of patients. In each case, analysis of specific patient needs along with results of evidence-based research, safety and efficacy should be determined before implementation of any integrative medicine therapy program.
